Purple Shamrock Media is an independent woman owned production company headquartered in the Philadelphia, PA area.Their webseries Flour was accepted into the LA WebFest and HollyWeb Festival, two of the top webseries festivals in the country. They also have produced 3 short films and a webseries titled UNTITLED which garnered 6 awards at the LA Webfest! They've also been accepted at Women's Short Film Fest in Baltimore, Houston Comedy Fest, ATL Webfest, LA Shorts Fest, and the Night of Short Films in Philadelphia. Their current projects include "I Promise." a short film to premiere in June, "Making it Rain" Sketch Comedy show, to be filmed later this summer alongside with pre-production for an crime drama and documentary about LGBT youth in the tri-state area.
Deirdre McCullagh is an east coast based actress and model, and graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She grew up doing musical theatre starting at age 7. Her training continued throughout grade school and also carried into college credit. After college, a talent agent suggested she try modeling which turned out to be very successful doing ads and runway shows for various brands including Arden B, Macy's and Guess. She then took her talent to the big screen, and hasn't looked back yet. She has appeared in over 30 films and TV shows, and commercials for Nike, Geico and Amtrak. In 2012 she created the comedy web-series Flour, where she is the producer, writer and plays the character of Tulip. She hopes to inspire other young women to step behind the camera, and try all aspects of filmmaking. Deirdre is also currently working towards her Masters in Education with a focus on School Counseling.
Cassia L Rainne is a recent MFAW graduate from Goddard College who is living, writing, and teaching college northeast Pennsylvania. As a young girl she frequently acted, danced, or sang in school productions or talent shows. As an adult, Cassia has continued acting with principle roles in plays and stage readings. She has been a writer, director and executive producer on short films, and web series. She's been an editor, a guest lecturer, and spent 4 years as a radio show host in Philadelphia, Pa. She writes monthly articles for a popular online women’s magazine as well as social media copy. She began Purple Shamrock Media with her close friend Deirdre McCullagh in hopes of creating work to showcase talent, diversity, and women in the film industry. With several projects in production and many on the horizon, she is consistently working and excited about the future. When she isn't doing any of the aforementioned, she is standing in tree pose focusing on what's next or being an Assistant Dean at Moravian College. Cassia is now working on her PhD is transformative studies, and looks forward to the day when people call her Doctor.
